“Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so, some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” (Hebrews 13:1-2)

“Offer hospitality to one another….” (1 Peter 4:9)

Christian Hospitality is motivated by faith. It is meant to be a gracious gift, free of expectation. It is an act of sacrifice and generosity. The radical hospitality of the Christian faith does not aim to promote a brand or oneself. It is meant to model the love of Christ. Not only is the biblical understanding of hospitality different from the world’s, it is uniquely different from merely hosting a dinner party or entertaining guests. True hospitality, the kind in Romans 12:13,
is sacrificial, often inconvenient, and almost always aimed at Strangers.

Foster care is the fulfillment of hospitality to the utmost – welcoming, loving, and protecting a stranger to the point of making them family.” (Jamie Finn)

We’d love to invite you into a month of Remarkable Hospitality.
